The Russell Award

A $500 scholarship for a graduating Roseburg High School Senior who has played baseball.  Award can be used at any college or university.  Selection based on applicant’s attitude, loyalty, and dedication to the sport, academic achievement and future goals.  Pick-up an application in the Career Center.

Bob Manning Memorial Softball Scholarship

A $1,000 scholarship to a graduating RHS softball participant.  Must have a 3.0 GPA.  Selection criteria include academic achievement, financial need, and overall contribution to the RHS softball (both athletic and team spirit considered).  Pick-up an application in the Career Center.

The Oregon Scottish Rite Education Scholarship

Ten to fifteen $1,000 scholarships available to graduating high school seniors.  Selection based on student need, exceptional qualities, and leadership.  Pick-up an application in Career Center or call 541-440-4881 for more information.

A $500 scholarship to a graduating senior or currently enrolled college student who is a resident of Douglas County.  Pick-up an application in the Career Center

Chapter BI, P.E.O Scholarship

Two $1,500 scholarships for graduating Roseburg High School senior girls.  The award may be used at the school of the recipient’s choice.  Selection based on scholarship, character, seriousness of purpose, and financial need.  Pick-up an application in the Career Center.

Oregon Association of School Business Officials

The Promising Futures Scholarship Program was created to help Oregon students interested in majors compatible with school business finance professions obtain a post-secondary education. Umpqua Lions/Roseburg High School Scholarship

A $500 scholarship for a graduating Roseburg High School senior.  Must be attending an Oregon college and university.  Selection criteria include academic record, need, and ultimate college goals.  Pick-up an application in the Career Center.

Umpqua Lions/Tom Hobbs Memorial Athletic Scholarship

One award of $500 for a senior from Roseburg High School who has been an active participant in the athletic program throughout his or her high school years.  May be used at any college or university within Oregon.  Pick-up an application in the Career Center. (Note this scholarship has been advertised earlier but the application deadline has changed)

Umpqua Lions Club Jim & Sharon Gregory Scholarship

A $500 scholarship for a graduating Roseburg High School senior.  Selection criteria include acadmic achievement, financial need, and overall contribution to school and community as well as future goals.

Fir Grove Elementary School - Lions Club Scholarship

Any graduating senior who attended Fir Grove Elementary School in the 5th grade during the 2010-11 school year is eligible to share a portion of an established fund to share to assist with the cost of attending college or vocational training after graduation.

Roseburg High School Excellence in Journalism Award

Up to a $3,000 scholarship for a graduating Roseburg High School senior. Applicants must be Involvement in Orange R and Journalism program at RHS and plan to pursue journalism as a major in college.  Selection based on GPA, test scores, journalistic accomplishment and intention, and letters of recommendation.  Pick-up an application in the Career Center.

Oregon Jaycee Foundation

$2,000 in scholarships to a 2018 Oregon graduating seniors.  Selection criteria include personal accomplishments, leadership qualities, and community service. Minimum GPA of 3.7 to apply. Pick-up and application in the Career Center.

Lance Michael Emmons Scholarship

A minimum scholarship of $500 to a graduating Douglas County senior who plans to pursue music degree.  Selection based on a personal statement, community involvement, and a minimum GPA of 3.0.  Pick-up an application in the Career Center.

Douglas Timbers Operators Scholarship

Three awards of $1,500 each.  Must have an intention to major in a natural resource related field.  This may include Chemistry, Animal Science, Geology, Biology, and Engineering.  Selection will be based on academic achievement, participation in school and community activities, personal statement, financial need and recommendations.  Applications available in Career Center.

Roseburg Education Association

Award of $1,500 to graduating high school senior whose parent or step-parent is a current member of the Roseburg Education Association or fair-share employee.  Award may be used at accredited school or college of recipient’s choice.  Pick-up an application in the Career Center.

Tom Weiss Memorial Scholarship

A $500 scholarship to a Roseburg High School graduating senior who has been accepted to accredited college or university.  Selection will be based on essay response, activities chart, letters or recommendation, and transcript review.  Pick-up an application in the Career Center.

Roseburg Rotary Club Scholarships

ine scholarship awards up to $1,500 for graduating seniors.  Three are for UCC and three are for any 4-year accredited college or university.  Three need-based scholarship will be awarded to the school of the student’s choice.   UCC bound students need a 3.0 GPA and 4-year bound students need to have 3.5 GPA to apply for these scholarships.  Pick-up an application in the Career Center or go to www.roseburgrotaryclub.org

The American Sewing Guild

American Indian Scholarships

The Christian Connector

Oregon Community Quarterback Club

Oregon Sports Hall of Fame – MacTarnahan Scholarship

Six $3,000 scholarships to graduating Oregon high school seniors.  Recipients will be chosen on the basis of financial need, athletic accomplishment, academic achievement, and community involvement.  Minimum 3.0 GPA and 1000 on SAT.  Scholarship monies must be used within Oregon.  Pick-up an application in the Career Center.

MyFlyFit Essay Writing Scholarship

Myflyfit is very pleased to announce its  first scholarship program for students. Any current, full-time,part time student of an accredited institute, must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 to become eligible. There is no requirement of minimum age. Montana State University Non-Resident Scholarships

University of Oregon Scholarships

Presidential Scholars - $9,000, renewable, 3.85 GPA 1300 SAT, 28 ACT; Significant leadership, and volunteer activities
Apex - $3,000 renewable; 3.60 GPA; 1220 SAT or 25 ACT
Stamps Program – Tuition, room and board for four years for five incoming freshmen.  3.85 cumulative GPA; 1300 combined math and critical reading on SAT.  Applicants must exemplify leadership, scholarship, service and innovation.
Diversity Excellence – Up to $6,500 awards available to students who enhance the educational experience of all students by sharing diverse cultural experiences.
Summit - $6,000 renewable scholarship; 3.8 GPA; 1260 critical reading and math SAT.
General University Scholarship – $2,000 to $3,000.  Must have a 3.5 GPA
These are some of the scholarships available to University of Oregon Students.  In order to apply for these scholarships, a student must submit an application for admissions, taken the SAT or ACT, and complete the U of O Scholarship application. Alert Magazine Scholarship
