Pre-requisite: Solo Lab A

Credit: 1/2 Elective

Course Overview: Using the breathing and technique taught in solo lab A, students will have a chance to explore the differences and similarities between classical and jazz/pop/country. Students will prepare solos in various styles perform them for each other and at a concert late in the semester. Students will receive individual instruction once a week and need to be able to prepare music independently. Class size will be limited to twenty due to the individual lesson time and amount of practice space available.
