Required Credit: 1 Elective

Course Overview: This intervention course is designed to further increase students’ competency with the Common Core State Standards in reading. The focus of the instruction will be word and sentence structure analysis, application of higher orders of thinking, and grammar usage.

*Using historical assessment data, work samples, grades, and/or teacher input, the Data Team will recommend placement in this intervention course if a student is performing below grade level in the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and/or is not on track for graduation in regards to reading and/or writing.
