Course Overview: The overall goal of this intervention course is to increase students’ knowledge and understanding in mathematics, as well as give targeted support in specific area(s) of need. Instruction uses a balance of conceptual understanding, problem solving, and computational skills. The course also explicitly focuses on students’ mathematical misconceptions.
This course is to be taken in conjunction with Algebra 1.
