Course Overview: Students will dive into a range of topics in domestic livestock production that include an exploration of animal history, handling, veterinary practices, reproduction, ruminant digestion, diseases, and an overview of animal industries pertinent to Oregon including the beef, sheep, poultry and equine (horse) industries. Students will also be discovering modern issues related to animal industries.
