Course Overview: This course is an introduction to the agricultural industry as we know it today. Learn about the world of agriculture on the local, national, and global scale. Students will experience exciting hands-on activities and projects. Topics will include the study of plants and animals, public speaking, parliamentary procedure, floriculture, natural resources, and agricultural literacy. During the first semester, students have the opportunity to learn how to drive a tractor and become certified in tractor safety and driving.
