Retiring Faculty

Mr. Thomas has been at RHS since 1966. After he retires he plans on resting, going to concerts, playing some golf, and traveling with his wife.
Peggy Thomas has been at RHS since 1995. She plans on traveling, reading, and taking some art classes. Mrs. Thomas looks forward to being with her husband, having adventures, and learning new things.
Donna Spicer has been at RHS since 1989. She plans to read, volunteer, take an art class, and teach voice lessons. She looks most forward to the extra time she'll have to pursue other activities.
Guy Seghetti has been at RHS since 2004. He plans to do "whatever he wants" during his retirement, and looks most forward to not putting up with the bureaucracy and whiny students and parents.
Jan Pullen has been at RHS since 1992. She plans to travel to Vietnam and Alaska this summer, and looks most forward to being able to travel with her family more often.
Ron Goodell has been at RHS since 1976. He plans to buy some property and build a house on it in his retirement. He looks most forward to golfing.
Kim Clary has been at RHS since 1992. She plans to travel, continue to play upright bass in her band, watch some baseball, visit her family, and do some home improvements.
Bruce Walker has been at RHS since 1977. He is planning to work around the house, continue coaching football and golf, and do volunteer work at the food bank and habitat for humanity. He looks most forward to not getting up at 5 AM every day.

Departing Faculty

Sarah Robertson has been at RHS since 2005. She plans on getting married this fall and will be moving to Bend. She looks forward to teaching at Bend High School.
Jill Hensing-Olind has been at RHS since 2007. She will be moving back home to Iowa with her husband, and by that time will have two children.
Michael Schneller has been at RHS since 2006. He is transferring to a position in the Beaverton School District teaching Physics.
Karen Van Sickle has been at RHS since 2007. She and her family are moving to New Jersey for her husband's new job.  She plans to spend lots of time with her daughter and enjoy being closer to her sister & parents.
Becky Lippmann has been at RHS since 2007. She plans to move north and live in the Willamette Valley and to continue to work in education. She gives her best wishes to Roseburg High staff and students.  
At RHS since 1993, Deanna Wells was the queen of video production and media services on the library staff. She also coached cheerleading and LaCrosse for many years. Deanna completed her teaching practicum at Fullerton this spring and got her degree in education from Nortwest Christian College. She is continuing work on her masters degree in library media and will be doing a library practicum at RHS this fall.
