Congratulations to the 48 students who qualified for FBLA State competition in 66 different events! FBLA meets Thursday after school in room T-108. We will also hold a lunch meeting during both lunches on Friday, again in room T-108.

Representatives from the seven Oregon Public Universities (OPU) will be visiting Roseburg High School on Wednesday, February 27th at 6:00 PM in the main building lobby.  This is an opportunity for students and their parents to come learn what the different universities offer as far as programs, aid, activities, and more.  Sophomore and Junior students and their parents are specifically invited, but all students and their parents are welcome.

Academic Feather Award applications have been mailed out to those students who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.75 and above first semester. Applications much be returned by March 1st to receive the feather. Any questions, please see Kathy in the Main Office.

Attention AP Students:  If you are planning to take an AP exam in May, it is now time to sign-up.  Cost of the exams are $72, sign-up in the main office with Mrs. Farrington.  Sign-up deadline is March 15th.  If you have questions stop by the Career Center and see Mr. Early.

Every Wednesday the Library is adding to the collection of fun lunchtime activities with "Broadway Musical Sing-Along Wednesdays!"  Sign-up Mondays and Tuesdays for your opportunity to shine at either lunch. Choose from our list of song options or leave a suggestion.  Any questions?  Come on down to talk to Arwyn! Also in your Library, Bob Ross Fridays rock the library's back room.  Bring your lunch, have a snack, paint, or just enjoy the squirrel-raising Bob Ross!

Boys interested in playing tennis this year please attend a sign up meeting on Thursday, 2/21 @ 3:00 pm in room M101.

Industrial machinery mechanic workers maintain and repair factory equipment and other industrial machinery, such as conveying systems, production machinery, and packaging equipment. Millwrights install, dismantle, repair, reassemble, and move machinery in factories, power plants, and construction sites. The average annual salary for this career is $50,000.
