Congratulations to Hannah Bryan, 5th grade student at Winchester Elementary School, who earned the District Champion title.
2008-09 Battle of the Books State Champions
Congratulations to Varneet Brar, Erin Cline, Erika Robinson, and Asia Winders from Joseph Lane Middle School on winning te school, county, region, and state championships for the Battle of the Books competition.
The Roseburg School Board honored these students at the May 13th, 2009 board meeting and presented them each with a certificate of achievement.
2008-09 Skills USA State Champions
Mary Carlson, Anna Royce, Trevor Marlar, and Caleb Couch won the State Championship in the State Skills USA competition with their presentional of the Rock-Ed project. They will be competing in the national competition this summer in Kansas City, Missouri.
