Multi Tiered Instruction
Response to Intervention
|[ HOME ]|
Response to intervention integrates assessment and intervention within a multi-level prevention system to maximize student achievement and to reduce behavior problems. With RTI, Fir Grove identifies students at risk for poor learning outcomes, monitor student progress, provide evidence-based interventions and adjust the intensity and nature of those interventions depending on a student’s responsiveness, and identify students with learning disabilities.
In Roseburg Public Schools, RTI is part of a structured, systematic, sustainable process called Multi Tiered Instruction. MTI in Roseburg also integrates Professional Learning Communities (PLCs).
Roseburg Public Schools is also the Southern Oregon RTI Regional Support Center (SOrRTI) for school districts who are part of the Oregon RTI Project.
