Film Study

Grade Level: 10, 11, 12

Length of Course: Semester/Year

Pre-requisite: Teacher Recommendation

Credit: 1/2 or 1 Elective

Course Overview: Film Study is a course designed for the student who wishes to further develop his skills of perception and analysis of the film medium. Students will view and discuss various types of film genres, film history and classics, and director styles. students will have the opportunity to work on original video projects on an independent basis. Students will be selected based on good attendance, ability to work independently on projects, and on a demonstrated, serious interest in film and filmmaking.
