Pre-requisite: Fine Arts II with Teacher Recommendation

Credit: 1 Elective

Fee: $30.00 per semester

Course Overview: This advanced course’s primary goal is to promote a life of art making and appreciation. Students in this class will build a portfolio of work that is suitable for a job interview, college admission or the AP studio art test. A variety of mixed media, drawing, and painting techniques will be explored. Students will also have the opportunity to show their artwork in group and solo art shows and develop their own project as a truly independent artist.
