Musical Theatre Workshop

Grade Level: 9, 10, 11, 12

Length of Course: Semester/Year

Pre-requisite: None

Credit: 1/2 or 1 Elective

Fee: $10.00 per semester

Course Overview:You've got a million bucks worth of talent! Let's put it to work producing the script, songs, scenes, and dances for your own original musical theatre production. Can't sing? No problem! Can't dance? No problem! Can't write? No worries. We'll develop all of these. Using games, instruments, the Black Box Recording Studio, and some fun, you'll soon be writing original songs, dancing hot steps, and having a blast with others in your troupe as you develop your amazing new shows. The perfect follow-up to beginning acting/improv or a great introduction for the independent musician/actor/dancer, musical theatre will introduce you to the magic of making your own high school musical come true.
