Course Overview: The overall goal of this intervention course is to increase students’ knowledge and understanding in mathematics, as well as give targeted support in specific area(s) of need. Instruction uses a balance of conceptual understanding, problem solving, and computational skills. The course also explicitly focuses on students’ mathematical misconceptions.
This course is to be taken in conjunction with Algebra 1.1 and will also feature some computer-based work.
