Course Overview: This course emphasizes the concepts and inter-relationships among cellular aspects of life that include growth and reproduction in plants and animals, evolution of modern plants and domestic livestock species, and plant and animal genetics. Students will also study the impacts of ecology and natural resources on their environment. This agricultural science course meets Life Sciences/Biology academic content standards and earns ½ a Biology credit (required for graduation).
