RHS Theatre presents The Sound of Music! This classic musical is based on the real singing group, The von Trapp Family Singers, who were one of the world's best-known concert groups in the time leading up to World War 2. The show continues this week Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for high school students with ID, and $5 for children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased in advance at While Away Books, or at the Rose theatre box office on show nights.

AP Exams:  Taking an AP exam is a way for a student to earn college credit and demonstrate to prospective colleges that you have taken a rigorous high school curriculum.  If you are planning to take an AP exam, sign-up with Mrs. Farrington in the main office.  Cost to take each AP exam is $68.  The deadline to sign-up is March 20th.  If you have further questions stop by and see Mr. Early in the Career Center.

The Career Center has been calling seniors down who are planning to attend UCC to help them complete the application for admission and other related college tasks.  If you haven’t been called down to the Career Center, stop by and we will help you get ready for UCC.

The deadline for permission forms and deposit to register for FBLA State Business Leadership Conference is TODAY, February 20th. Take forms and payment to Mrs. Warnock in room T-108.

  • If you miss 2 or fewer days from January 29th through March 23rd, you could win a Kindle Fire.
  • Juniors and Seniors – If you are here 97.5% of the time 2nd semester, you could win a laptop.

Interested in working outdoors this summer? The Oregon Youth Conservation Corps has paid summer positions.  Crews work on a variety of natural resource tasks ranging from trail enhancement to habitat restoration.  If you are interested, please see Ms. Beedle in room M-207 for more information.

Track and field athletes…..if you missed the informational meeting last week, stop by Mrs. Bartlett’s room (M-102) to sign up and get any information you might need before season begins.  Orange cards must be complete before you can practice.  For those athletes with a completed Orange card that would like to begin conditioning, there will be a few pre-season workouts from 3-4pm on the following dates: February 20th, 22nd, and 23rd.  See you then!

STUDENTS … the weight room will be open daily from 2:45-3:30 if you are looking to get a workout in!
