Seniors: IMPORTANT: If you completed the UCC Foundation scholarship application you will need to check your UCC student email for award information. Awards must be accepted and thank you letters submitted by Friday, April 28th. If you have any questions contact the UCC Scholarship Office at 541-440-7674
Seniors – It is tradition for Roseburg High School to recognize graduating seniors who have received scholarships in the graduation program. If you have received any scholarship(s), stop by the Career Center to report them.
Seniors: The Career Center is gathering information about your plans next year. If you haven’t been called down to the Career Center, stop by and let us know what you are doing next year.
Seniors – come help pick the theme and speakers for Baccalaureate, the service for graduates, on Thursday after school in M-110. Anyone interested in speaking should let Mrs. Weiss know by Thursday.
Volunteer opportunity: The National Honor Society blood drive could use your help. We are looking for a few volunteers to act as bed buddies and runners for the blood drive on Wednesday and Thursday, April 26 and 27. If you are interested, see Mrs. Thompson in the library for more information.
Attention Juniors and Seniors – Prom will be held on April 29 from 8:00 to 11:00 PM at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. This year’s theme is “Enchanted Garden” Prom tickets will be sold April 24-28 in the Student Center during lunch. You MUST have your ASB card in order to purchase a ticket AND to get into the Prom. If you have lost your ASB card, you can order another card in the Main Office for $2.
Dance Guest Passes - RHS students who are planning to bring a guest from another school to the Prom need to submit a Dance Guest Pass form to the Main Office no later than Wednesday, April 26.
The NHS blood drive will be held April 26 & 27 in the RHS Student Center. We desperately need donors, 16 years and older. This will be a great opportunity to help save lives. Sign up in the Library with Mrs. Thompson.
Check it out in the library: Do you dream of one day working for the FBI, solving crimes by examining hairs, fibers, and fingerprints from crime scenes? Hair, Clothing and Tire Track Evidence: Crime-Solving Science Experiments is just one book in the Forensic Science book series that will give you a head start on your future crime-solving career.
Attention Students and Staff – Beginning Monday, May 1, during both lunches, you will have the opportunity to participate in the filming of the “Senior Goodbye” video. Filming will be in the Leadership room. If you have any questions, talk to Jaz Hernandez or Cooper Lee.
Volleybuff applications are available and will be due Wednesday, April 26. Late applications will not be accepted. Each class will be choosing a theme which must receive administrative approval. The winning team will play against the Staff team. Practice times TBA. The Volleybuff tournament will be on Wednesday, May 3 in the Auxiliary Gym. Spectator admission is $2.
- There will be a Japanese Club meeting on Tuesday, April 25 in Ms. Jones' Room H-107 to vote on tee-shirt designs. Please bring any designs!
- The RHS Dungeon and Dragon Club will be meeting on Thursdays after school in Mr. Eckman's room, A104. Please come if you want to play or design a character!
- Thursday's after school please jog slowly to Mr. Eckman's classroom A104... carrying your Violin, Cello, Bass or Viola to Peter Stephen's Musician's Club... We are going to jam.
