Proposed Bond Measure
Roseburg School District proposed projects by school
The district estimates that the proposed $75.51 million bond, if passed, would cost homeowners $0.99 per $1,000 of assessed property value. For example, owners of a home with an assessed value of $250,000 could expect to pay approximately $247.50 per year or about $20.60 per month. If the measure does not pass, the proposed projects would not be completed and property taxes would not increase.
If the proposed May 2023 bond measure is passed, the following projects would be completed at each school:
- Eastwood Elementary
- Fir Grove Elementary
- Fullerton IV Elementary
- Green Elementary
- Hucrest Elementary
- Melrose Elementary
- Sunnyslope Elementary
- Winchester Elementary
- Roseburg Virtual School
- Fremont Middle School
