ParentSquare

A square icon with four colored circles connected by a light gray square.

For the 2024-25 school year, we have transitioned to a communication tool called ParentSquare to improve communications and engagement with families. This platform has replaced OneCall, Remind and Peachjar.

ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent/guardian, using the email address and/or phone number used to register your student(s) for school. In preparation for the transition to ParentSquare, we encourage you to register your account on your computer or through the ParentSquare app on your mobile device.

Initial uses for ParentSquare in our district will include:

  • Smart Alerts* (reminders, school closure, delayed opening, activity cancellation, etc.)
  • Urgent Alerts* (critical threats, emergencies, etc.)
  • Posts (general communications from schools/district, newsletters, sign-ups, etc.)
  • Direct Messages (teacher-to-parent and parent-to-teacher communications)
  • Auto Notices (student-specific attendance and tardy notifications)

*Alerts may override your notification preferences.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you can't sign into ParentSquare with your email or phone number, please contact your child's school.

If you can sign in, please follow these steps:

    1. Check your email and phone number in ParentSquare. Click on your name in the top right and click My Account. If corrections need to be made, please contact your child's school with the correct information.

    2. Check your Notification Preferences on My Account page. Are your notification preferences on?

    3. Check your spam folder for emails from donotreply@parentsquare.com.

    4. Add the domain ParentSquare.com or the email address donotreply@parentsquare.com to the safe senders list in your email client (Gmail, Yahoo, aol, etc.) You can google how to do this. If using Gmail:
      • Go to Settings.
      • At the bottom of the pane, click Mail.
      • In the left pane, select Mail > Accounts > Block or allow.
      • Under Blocked Senders, select the address or domain you want to unblock, and then select.

    5. Text the word START to 66458. This will resume text messaging to your phone.
  • Click on "Forgot Password?" on the sign-in screen and a link to reset password will be sent.

  • On a browser, click on your name to update your language preferences.
On the app go to Account > Preferences from the menu.

  • Call your child's school office and ask for your contact information to be updated. After the school updates the information in our Student Information System (SIS), the new contact details will be in ParentSquare the next day.

  • If you are missing a child/school, it may be because:

    • They have more than one ParentSquare account with different contact information.
    • Their contact information is inconsistent across the schools' SIS

To add a child or school, you should contact your school(s) directly to update your contact information. You should confirm that the same email and phone number is on file for all children at all schools.

The day after the change is made at the school, you should be able to see the updated information in ParentSquare.

  • On a web browser, visit this link to sign in or register.

On the app, enter your email or cellphone number. The email and/or cellphone number should match what is in the school's information system or database.

On the web, click "Sign In," then under "Sign Up" section, put your email or phone number and click "Go."

If the email or phone number is not recognized by ParentSquare, parents can follow directions to request access or call the school office and ask them to update the contact information.

  • You can set your notification preferences to receive a daily digest email, text or app notification with all updates at the end of the day.

On the web, click on your name to bring up your accounts page to update notification preferences.

On the app, you can go to Account > Preferences from the triple-bar menu.
