An attorney for the district may be appointed by the Board with a retainage fee established. The attorney or the attorney’s representative shall attend Board meetings when requested by the Board.
The superintendent is authorized to seek advice or obtain legal opinions whenever a matter arises that necessitates such an opinion. The superintendent shall get approval of the district’s attorney regarding form and substance as necessary on all legal documents such as deeds, contract, easements, rights-of-way, etc.
