Weekly COVID-19 Case Roundup

Roseburg Public Schools continues to work with Douglas Public Health Network, our school nurses and our district Operations Team to maintain safe learning environments in our district. In an effort to provide transparency regarding our health and safety measures, we plan to provide weekly totals of positive COVID-19 cases identified in our district.  In tracking cases identified in our district, we continue to find that students and staff are contracting the illness outside of school. Douglas Public Health Network has reported no evidence of COVID-19 spread within our schools.

With recent revisions to required quarantine and isolation protocols, students who have contact with individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 will not need to quarantine as long as schools can confirm consistent use of face coverings and social distancing.
