Did You Know?

Parents have more influence over their children than friends, music, TV, the Internet or celebrities.

Kids who learn about the risks of drugs and alcohol from their parents are much less likely to experiment or use drugs.

Help your student stay safe and make healthy choices by:

  • Talking and listening regularly.

  • Staying informed about your student’s friends and day-to-day activities.

  • Making it clear that you do not want him or her to drink or use drugs, including tobacco or vape products.

  • Setting reasonable limits.
