Roseburg Schools will celebrate outstanding educators and staff members from across the district during the 2026 Golden Apple Awards at 4 p.m. Friday, May 22, in Roseburg High School’s Rose Theatre. 

The annual event honors exceptional employees who make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and families throughout Roseburg Schools.  

The following staff members will be recognized during the ceremony:

* Fullerton IV Elementary – Andrea Stanley
* Green Elementary – Ellie Wyscaver
* Hucrest Elementary – Michelle Altermatt
* Melrose Elementary – Tristan Church
* Sunnyslope Elementary – Isadora Trinkle
* Winchester Elementary – Laura Dowdy
* Fremont Middle School – Megan Crouch
* Jo Lane Middle School – Jerry Foster
* Roseburg High School – Devin Bowen

This year’s Golden Apple Awards are sponsored by Cascade Orthopedic Specialists. Refreshments will be served following the ceremony in the Roseburg High School Student Center.
