Join Alder Creek Community Forest for a guided fall forest experience on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Alder Creek Community Forest, 829 Canyonville-Riddle Road in Riddle.

The 2026 Fire Resilience Workforce trainees will lead the way and share what they’ve learned about forest health, fuels reduction and fire resilience. Stop by for a little while or stay for the whole event.

Activities include guided forest hikes, family and youth activities, information about fire and forest resilience, and warm drinks including coffee, hot cocoa and warm apple cider. Visitors can gather by the fire, participate in activities near the pavilion or explore the forest on an interpretive walk.
