Congratulations to Jenny Eames, a learning specialist at Fir Grove Elementary School; Howlite Moon, librarian at Fir Grove. These employees were presented with Crystal Apple Awards at the December 10 School Board meeting.

Howlite has served in several roles within education and has truly found a calling as our librarian. The library is an inviting space that sparks curiosity and wonder, inspiring students to explore and discover. Howlite is also a steady support for students who are struggling in class or on the playground, offering patience, careful listening, and a calm presence that students trust. Using a deep skill set of creativity and collaboration, Howlite produces professional-quality designs for school projects and contributes thoughtfully to the work of the whole community.
