Planning responsibly for the schools our community relies on
Roseburg Schools maintains buildings that serve thousands of students, staff and community members each day. Many of our schools were built decades ago and require ongoing investment to remain safe, functional and effective places for learning.
Caring for these facilities means maintaining what we have today while making thoughtful, long-term decisions about what our students and community will need in the years ahead.
Our Schools at a Glance
Our school campuses have grown and changed over generations. The original buildings, all of which remain in use today, date from 1909 to 1965 and are an average of nearly 78 years old. Most campuses also include additions, renovations and modular buildings constructed in the decades since. While the Old Main at Roseburg High School, built in 1926, was closed for classroom use in the 2022-23 school year due to safety concerns, the gym remains in use as a student weight room. Today, we operate:
