Pre-K enrollment open for 2026-27 school year

Roseburg Schools is now accepting applications for its Pre-K program for the 2026-27 school year and invites families in the district to explore the opportunity through an upcoming “Peek into Pre-K” classroom visit.
The district’s free Pre-K program is designed to help young learners build confidence, curiosity and foundational skills that prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. Children are eligible to apply if they turn 4 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2026.
Families who are interested in learning more about the program are encouraged to attend the district’s Peek into Pre-K event from 8 to 10 a.m. April 2.
During the event, families can visit a Pre-K classroom, meet staff and get a sense of what a typical day looks like for Roseburg’s youngest learners. Pre-K classrooms are located at Eastwood, Green and Winchester elementary schools.
Enrollment applications received before May 1 will be placed on the roster in the order they are received. After the May 1 priority deadline, any remaining openings will be filled through a lottery system that includes all eligible applications submitted after that date.
Families will be notified of their enrollment status on or before June 1.
Roseburg Schools’ Pre-K classes meet Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and are offered in both morning and afternoon sessions.
Morning sessions run approximately 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., and afternoon sessions run approximately 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., with start and end times varying slightly depending on the school location.
Families can apply online through this form.
