Summer Learning registration open until May 26

Roseburg Schools is excited to offer summer learning opportunities designed to help students stay engaged, strengthen academic skills and maintain important connections to their schools during the summer months.
Research consistently shows that students benefit from continued learning over the summer. Our Summer Learning Program provides a fun, supportive environment where students can build confidence, reinforce key reading and math skills, and begin the new school year feeling prepared and connected.
Who Can Participate?
- All incoming kindergarten students are eligible to participate.
- Qualifying students currently in grades K–7 are also eligible based on mid-year academic data.
Families who are unsure whether their child qualifies are encouraged to contact their child’s school.
Program Dates and Times
Incoming Kindergarten Students
- July 20–31, 2026
- Monday through Thursday
- 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Students Currently in Grades K–4
- July 6–31, 2026
- Monday through Thursday
- 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Students Currently in Grades 5–7
- July 6–31, 2026
- Monday through Thursday
- 7:35 a.m. to 11:35 a.m.
Additional Program Benefits
To help ensure all students can participate, Roseburg Schools will provide:
- Transportation
- Breakfast and lunch
In addition, optional afternoon programming will be available through Boys & Girls Club of the Umpqua Valley for students currently in grades K–7.
Registration deadline is May 26. Eligible families have received registration information directly. If you are unsure whether your child qualifies or have questions about the program, please contact your child’s school.
